Midnight Church Aftermath · House Concerts
Your living room. My songs. Everybody's baggage.
Invite your favorite people over. I'll bring the songs, the stories, and enough emotional baggage to qualify as a carry-on.
Midnight Church Aftermath house concerts bring the record into the kind of room these songs belong in. People sitting close, laughing at the messy parts, and occasionally realizing, "Oh shit. That one's about me."
You might know everyone when the night starts. You'll probably know them a little better by the end.
Booking on Maui now. Beyond Maui, the Porch Lights map helps me figure out where to go next.
BYO couch
BYO couch. I'll bring the feelings.
A little music. A little oversharing.
Two 45-minute sets with a short break in the middle. We'll settle in for an acoustic trip through Midnight Church Aftermath, with a few songs from the road that got me here.
There'll be stories about building a life that looked great until I couldn't get out of bed. Becoming whoever the room needed. Finding my way back to music. And making a record in Nashville with people who somehow agreed that yes, this song needed a theremin.
There'll also be laughing. Quite a bit, actually. I've made enough questionable decisions to have material.
Here's what's included:
- An acoustic show, up close. Songs, stories, and room to ask questions along the way.
- The Deluxe double CD available at a special house concert price.
- Everything I need to play. Guitar, a small speaker if needed, and the merch box.
You bring the people. I'll take it from there.
Your house doesn't have to look like Pinterest.
A living room, lanai, backyard, barn, or garage with string lights can all work.
We're looking for space to seat 20 to 50-plus people comfortably, gather close, and listen. Tell me what you've got, and we'll figure out the setup together.
Snacks are welcome. Matching chairs are wildly unnecessary.
How we make it happen
- Tell me about your place.Fill out the form on this page with your location, approximate guest count, and dates you're considering.
- We find a date and work out the details.Maui shows are usually easier to arrange. For off-island visits, I group nearby concerts into one trip.
- Invite your people.I'll send you an invitation you can text or share, plus a simple RSVP page to keep track of who's coming.
- Make room for a guitar.I'll show up with everything we agreed on. You get to enjoy the night, too.
Let's talk money.
Maui house concerts start at $750. Off-island shows are quoted individually, including travel.
You can cover the show as a treat for your guests, or invite everyone to chip in. For example, 30 people contributing $25 each covers a $750 show. We'll agree on the details before you send invitations.
Outside Maui? A few hosts in the same region can help spread out travel costs. Add your light to the Porch Lights map and tell me you're interested in hosting.
Got a room and a few good people?
That's a pretty good start.
Tell me what you're imagining. We'll see what we can make happen.
