The Porch Lights Map

Leave a light on.

Tell me where you're listening from and a porch light comes on in your town. The more of you in one place, the brighter it burns. The brightest towns are where I book the first shows. That's the whole plan. No label routing this, just you.

The brightest towns

Every light is a real person who said "come play here." When a town hits 50, I start calling venues. If there's no venue, we do it in somebody's living room. That's a real option.

    How it works

    1. You turn on a light.Name, email, your town. Only the town shows on the map.
    2. Your town gets brighter.Send this page to the friend who'd come with you. Every light counts toward 50.
    3. First to 50 gets a show.I book the room, you get the first email about tickets. If you're in a town with 3 lights, don't worry, I'm keeping a list of those too.

Why I'm doing it this way

I spent twenty years behind the scenes and I'm not interested in playing to an empty room in a city where nobody asked for me. I'd rather play a packed living room in yours. Midnight Church Aftermath is twenty-six songs about starting over on purpose, and the tour should work the same way. Honest. Small at first. Built with the people who are actually listening.

Maui friends: you already know where to find me. Everybody else: light it up.
