What I play
A mix, built for your night. Classic songs people already know the words to, from Bonnie Raitt and Fleetwood Mac to the ones your uncle requests every year, plus a few of my own where they fit. I read the room. Dinner gets dinner music. The dance floor gets the dance floor.
Want the whole record, start to finish, with the stories behind the songs? That's a different night. That's a house concert.
- Ceremonies. The walk in, the walk out, and the song that makes your mom cry. One voice, one guitar.
- Cocktail hours and dinners. Warm, familiar and unhurried, at a volume that still lets people talk.
- Private parties and gatherings. Two or three hours shaped around your crowd. Send me a few must-plays and I'll learn them.
- The first dance, your way. Tell me the song. I'll learn it. If it doesn't exist yet, I'll write it.
Who's showing up
I've been writing and producing for over twenty years, with 200+ songs placed in TV and film, and I just made a double album in Nashville with some of the best players in town. On Maui you'll have caught me at Ohana's, Monkeypod, Sea Maui, Java Jazz and Maui Brewing Co. I show up early, I'm easy to work with, and I've never once asked a wedding planner where the green room is.
